of impairment has been made. Includes corrections of WPI miscalculations &

Texas: LC 130.2 allows treating doctors (or designee) to determine
impairment and carriers to make a reasonable assessment of what it believes
the true impairment should be before initiating Impairment Income Benefits
(IIB). Disputes on MMI or WPI  can be resolved with a Designated Doctor
Examination (DDE), LC 130.6, with benefits pay for conditions not disputed.
